George Sacks

President-Chief Operating Officer

George Sacks is the Managing Principal of Commercial Florida Realty Partners (“CFRP”), President of Commercial Florida Management Services (“CFMS”) and Chief Operating Officer of Commercial Florida Properties (“CFP”), since its inception in 1995.  From 2003-2005, Mr. Sacks was concurrently responsible for property operations; leasing and asset management for Atlanta based Parthenon Realty, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Apollo Real Estate Advisors.  During his tenure at Parthenon, he was responsible for increasing the occupancy of the 1,500,000 sq. ft. portfolio of eight (8) properties from 70% to 92%, creating a substantial increase in value for the Florida portfolio subsequently sold to JP Morgan and Investco.   Mr. Sacks also served as Executive Vice President and Managing Director for Grubb & Ellis Company in South Florida, overseeing the firm’s diversified real estate services operations and its broker professionals in Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties, integrating the Commercial Florida Team under the Grubb & Ellis operating platform from 1999-2002. Before forming Commercial Florida, Mr. Sacks was Vice President/Director of Office Leasing at Cushman & Wakefield. His past and present clients include Citibank (branch locations and office space throughout South Florida) and Prudential Securities, now Wells Fargo Financial Advisors (throughout the Southeast).  Major transactions include the renewal of the 138,000 square foot Citibank lease at Doral Corporate Plaza in Miami; AT&T Wireless Services for 38,000 square feet in Fort Lauderdale and 27,000 square feet in West Palm Beach; and the sale of the Design Center Office Building (60,000 square feet) to Highwoods Properties on behalf of Teacher Insurance and Annuity Association, the sale of Glades St. Andrew Professional Center to Investments, Ltd., and a lease renewal and expansion of JP Morgan Chase for 70,000 square feet in Deerfield Beach, among notable multiple transactions for JPMorgan Chase throughout Florida. Landlord represented clients have included Equity Office, Morgan Stanley, the State of Florida, CDR Realty, Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America, Canpro Investments, American Continental Properties, and Ascent Real Estate Advisors.  Mr. Sacks’ education and professional affiliations include a Bachelor of Arts Degree for Tulane University, a Masters in Commercial Property (MICP), Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) as well as serves as a Director on several office condominium complexes.
